Artemisa annua training in Niger
Within the framework of the project of improvement of education and health thanks to the Artemisia annua in Sub-Saharan Africa, IDAY-Niger organized a first training of two days on this plant in the elementary school of Nguimi.
It contained :
- A theoretical and practical training on the cultivation of the plant;
- A training on the sensitization of the communities to the use of Artemisia annua against tropical diseases.
Several members of the IDAY-Niger coalition have been trained in the cultivation of the plant, as well as teachers from the school.
Thanks to another funding, they will be able to start a school garden with Artemisia annua and other plants with high nutritional value.
